This is the female torso that Tammy has made, covered in chalboard paint, so you can participate with Body Politics.
Come to Artomatic before June 15th and participate by leaving words or drawings on the torso.
Click on the images to see a larger image.
We photograph and then erase the torsos every so often so new people can put up their “art” on Tammy’s torsos.
Stop by Artomatic and you can write on the torsos too!
Just to keep you up to speed – here is an update of Tammy’s pregnant torso.
We took photos of them this past Sunday, but they were in RAW format and had to convert them, so here they are.
I am working also on images of the male and female torsos with chalboard paint Tammy did.

My work “Made in China” is about Chinese foot binding. See an image of it by clicking here.
The work has little drawers and little scrolls of paper people can leave comments on and tuck in the drawers.

The Body Politics exhibit has three torsos that Tammy made – a male, female and pregnant torso. She’s painted them with chalkboard paint. Read full post...Tammy and I plan on being there to meet with visitors at Artomatic in our exhibit on Friday the 16th from 7-10pm.
I’ll post photos of the interaction with our exhibit we took Saturday night as soon as I feel a little better. Hopefully tomorrow.
