Farewell to Skinny Jeans
Send us your skinny jeans! You know what skinny jeans are – they are the jeans lurking in the closet of many women. Or maybe they hang tauntingly on the closet door to remind you every day of how perfect you were in them.
Skinny jeans to so many women are the holy grail of their ideal body and their perfect casual sexiness; they are the jeans they wish they could get back into and will do all sorts of things to get there.
If you have a pair or five pairs of skinny jeans taunting you and telling you that you aren’t good the way you are, we ask you to break away those denim shackles! We ask you to give up this manufactured idea of beauty! If you love that style of jeans because the pockets sat in just the right spot and made your butt look perfect, go buy them in a larger size! Don’t waste five more seconds plotting and planning to get back into them. Think of all of the things you could do with that re-directed energy!
Empower yourself! Pull those jeans out of the closet and get a big fat marker and write a farewell message right on them. Or say goodbye to them by safety-pinning notes or stuffing a letter in the pocket and then send them to us for an installation piece.
As we get them in the mail we will feature them on the blog here and put them in a safe place to wait until we get enough for an installation.
We cannot send your jeans back, so if you are too addicted to send them, don’t! If writing on them will ruin an expensive pair of jeans you can’t live without – DON’T! But if you are ready to live life on YOUR terms, then say farewell to those skinny jeans and know you are fabulous NOW just the way you are!
